Id be more worried about your own team there buddy.

Laughing at another gong show of a blog by this guy. Last week it was the "wait till everyone sees how great panther fans really are" blog only to see nobody show up to their games. This week the officiating is pitted against them when anyone who has watched the series knows that's not the truth. Not the truth just like his blog last week. Beginning to see a pattern here.... I'll be the first one to say the islanders are playing like crap but saying they had three goals that should be allowed amd how anyone being objective could see that is laughable among many other ridiculous statements in this blog.

I dont know how many non calls there were leading up to Martin's tripping penalty that they scored on but I lost count at five right in front of the refs. Officiating has been terrible for both sides but saying its against the panthers beyond laughable. Not one goal that was disallowed should have counted including the one they called back on us last night with a quick whistle.

Oh I'm very nervous about tonight of course. Islanders had that game for the taking, now its going at least 6. At least any worries about Greiss not having any playoff experience are a non factor. Days after playoff losses are excruiciating.

Agreed Greiss has been stellar the rest of the team not so much besides Tavares. Completely mailed it in last night as far as im concerned.

The irony was thick as Islander fans lamented the officiating
- spiegs13 in Florida's 2-1 win in Brooklyn Wednesday night. Both sides could be upset after bad call after bad call, but any objective fan from either side looking in the mirror knows the series is tied because of bad officiating.

At worst Florida should be up 3-1, if not have closed out the series Wednesday night. They simply have been the better team.

The Panthers fans on this website deserve better than a sophomoric blog whining about the officiating and making grandiose claims that "if not for the refs" the Panthers would be up 3-1 or would have swept.

Agreed. If you as a fan and a blogger can't put aside such biases and recognize that breaks and bounces are part of the game, you only come across as a crying whiner.

The series is as it should be.

In game 3, I thought the officiating was probably the worst I've ever seen. However, we lost because we blew two different two-goal leads and our special teams was awful. Last night I thought the officiating was fine. The Huberdeau goal, I thought, should have counted. But other than that I had zero problems with the calls.

I think the Panthers humbled the Islanders a bit last night. And now we should be getting Trocheck back going forward. That's going to really ignite the top nine for Florida.

It is. We have home ice advantage now. Getting Trocheck back will be huge. The Isles are a good team and they capitalize on every mistake you make. Last night we didn't make any (save for one or two dumb penalties). The rest definitely helped Luongo.

When people constantly rag on the officiating it shows that they don't understand hockey very well. Good job Dan. Keep up the great work.

Yeah, but the goal was a direct result of poor officiating

Can't agree with most of this blog. The officiating has been questionable for both sides. My main concern is getting the first line productive, although they're getting the chances. Even series that hasn't been won by much of either side. It's 2-2 with us having home adv. That I like!

Played there twice this yr, seemed about the same as at Nassau Coliseum, 30%, maybe a little more. Wasn't much for Ranger fans to cheer about though this season vs the Isles.

"This writer absolutely loathes talking about officiating"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but havne't you written several blogs on officiating, when it doesn't go the panthers way?

This blog comes across as extremely homerish. Bad calls even out over a seven game series. I'm sure Islanders fans could point out a dozen calls you "missed" when watching the game. Good teams find ways to win, and overcome bad calls.

It's to the point that I'm suspicious you're going for the troll blog route of other bloggers just to garner hits.
